Control Plan/CTP

The purpose of the integrated Control Plan/CTP module is easy creation and maintenance of Workflow of the Control Technical Process according to the requirements of ISO/TS 16949, AIAG/APQP, VDA 4.3 and customer’s requirements . The basic documents to describe the control operations are:

  • control plan
  • operations control guidelines
  • control measurement procedures with the aim to define specifications for control steps according to the customer’s requirements

From the viewpoint of the documentation ensured to describe the technological procedure the CTP module contains functionalities for creation and management of:

  • technical procedures, working instructions, adjustment guidelines for description of operations
  • technical and other guidelines
  • process, production, assembly guidelines and procedures, packing regulations
  • safety rules for operations

CTR – Construction Technological Roster

Function to compile a “breakdown” of the product into individual parts. When the part tree is created, functionalities in connection to the Database of Parts module are used.

  • Window to describe Operation with indication of the index of the change, name and basic information about the control technical instruction
  • Possibility to include a drawing

Control plan according to the APQP requirement – Control Step Card Control step content:

  • Function to compile the Workflow – flow chart of the production process of individual operations
  • Possibility to print a production operation with possible modifications by the user
  • Basic information on a control operation – description of the control step with a definition of the monitoring module in the PALSTAT CAQ system in the “Operation Type” field
  • Definition of the size code – link to the Database of Parts module – list of sizes
  • Measuring instrument number – link to the PALSTAT DAT module - Metrology, possibility to connect the measuring instrument to the control operation described
  • Selection – possibility to set the sampling frequency according to the standards

  • The Microsoft Office Word tools may be used for description of technical guidelines
  • The “Equipment” function, which adds the basic information from the PALSTAT CAQ system modules, can be used to describe a technical operation
