FMEA

FMEA – Failure Mode and Effects Analysis

FMEA is a method which – if used – can avoid or mitigate risks appearing during development or design of a product – DFMEA, in the technology and during the production itself – PFMEA. The purpose lies in specification of all possible failures with regard to the importance of the probability that they may be revealed, with the aim to optimise the design and processes. The program is useful for applications in the field of design, technology, development of tools, assessment of critical spots in the EMS system, safety at work, etc. The program is in full compliance with standards CSN ISO 9001:2000 chap. 7.3 and requirements of the automotive industry - ISO/TS 16949 chap. 4.2, 7.3, methodology AIAG (QS-9000)- FMEA, VDA 4.2.

  • classification of processes, faults and causes
  • print of FMEA forms according to AIAG or VDA 4.2
  • fast search of faults, causes and their consequences
  • determination of remedial measures, monitoring of compliance with their deadlines and effectiveness of these measures
  • search of remedial measures not fulfilled by a certain date
  • evaluation of remedial measures using the Pareto analysis
  • connection to the Management of Events and Tasks module for fulfilment of measures arising from the MRP coefficient level

Registering, list and management of FMEA analysis

  • Record of FMEA head
  • Assignment of a part/product from the PALSTAT Parts module
  • Deadlines for solution and processing of FMEA
  • Deadlines for solution and processing of FMEA
  • MRP monitoring – table of processes and faults with the MRP coefficient – rate of the fault risk and priority of measures
  • Graphical presentation of MRP using Pareto analysis
  • Management of FMEA review and a record of history and reason
FMEA FMEA

FMEA analysis processing

  • Preparation of Workflow – block diagram – analysis of system risks / design / process / in a tree structure.
  • Identification of all characteristics or product, process – technologies relevant to each operation.
  • Evaluation of faults, causes and effects by means of these criteria:
    • Fault importance (Vz)
    • Fault occurrence (Vy)
    • Detectalability (Od)
    • Calculation of the Risk Rate indicator and MR/P priority
    • Determination of measures for high MR/P numbers with responsibilities for these measures
FMEA

Module – printed outputs

Module for printed outputs of forms processed by FMEA according to the requirements of automotive industry AIAG (QS-9000), VDA 4.2.

FME FME

Auxiliary databases - Numerical lists of processes / faults /causes

  • • Creation of a numerical list of key faults and causes in three levels common with PALSTAT G8D-Stopcards, Complaints modules
  • • Possibility to make entry in three languages with consequent FMEA creation in language versions
Definition of auxiliary databases for easy processing of FMEA

FMEA - Reporting

Module for analysis, retrieval of already processes FMEA according to parameters:
  • Measures not fulfilled
  • Processes, systems
  • Critical MR/P
  • Faults
  • Causes
