CAQmobile, mobile applications

We are developing our own application for the Android + iOS system, which will enable quick and easy management of selected parts of the system and perform, for example, quick check-off of machine repairs. The application itself reads data from the ISS Web server, in which the API is running through which communication is performed. To implement it, it is necessary to install ISS with the application supplied by us. 

 

The app can be tested after installing it on a mobile phone our test CAQapp. In the app, go to the "Settings" page and select "Load QR", the app will read the necessary parameters from the code below and pre-fill them into the form. Next, use the "Test" button to see if the application is communicating with the test server.

Conditions of use:

• Installation of the IIS server and deployment of the CAQapi application, which is free of charge for customers with a service contract.
• Installation of CAQservice, which comes free of charge with the CAQdesktop application.
• Purchsed CAQserver, which is free of charge for customers with a valid service contract.
• Installation of the CAQmobile App on an Android or iOS mobile device. (optionally as a WEB application)
• Purchase of the required number of LICenses for mobile access. The LICense is not floating, but is assigned to a specific user. The settings are made in the CAQdesktop user database, as shown.
• Android 7+, Apple iOS 16+
• For iOS devices, the system itself enforces the use of the HTTPS protocol exclusively.

 

Settings in the app

In order for the CAQmobile application to access the Palstat system data, it is necessary to set the IIS server adress in the application to which the CAQapi interface is accessible. The settings can be found in the application menu.

 

• Server address: https/https the address on which the CAQapi is running, the address can be just an IP address or a name. It must always be listed completely, including the name of the application. For testing, the same address can be inserted into a random application. For testing, the same address can be inserted into a random PC on the same network range and the address must return to the default CAQapi page.
• User name: username from the user database
• Password: password from the user database
• Use camera: if the terminal does not have a camera, but only a laser reader, the camera can be disabled.
